President Donald Trump’s ‘gold card’ citizenship program

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump told reporters gathered in the Oval Office about a new program – a so-called gold card.

Golden visas and passports, as they’re known, are common worldwide. More than 100 countries have some type of golden visa program. But that doesn’t mean they come without controversy.  

We discussed the topic not too long ago with Kristin Surak, when her book, “The Golden Passport: Global Mobility for Millionaires,” was released. She sits down with us to talk about Trump’s plan.
